Fimiston Underground Pump Station
Greenlands was contracted to design and install a primary pump station within the Fimiston Underground Mine.
The project scope included the detailed design of the pump station, the supply of two Ferret FP106 pump skids, and the installation of the pump station together with the associated rising main.The rising main was installed from the pump station, ascending through multiple levels to connect into an existing rising main integrated within an escapeway. From the top of the escapeway, HDPE piping was installed out the portal, up the pit wall, and through to the mine water settling ponds.
