Cloudbreak Aquifer Re-Injection Systems
Greenlands Equipment was engaged by Fortescue Metals Group to design, manufacture and commission a quantity of aquifer re-injection systems for the Cloudbreak injection bore field. The aquifer re-injection systems included the below listed main items.
Project Services
- Base of bore control valve to control injection flow rate. Control valve was designed for a max flow rate of 150L/s
- Solar powered valve control panel
- Telemetry system to allow for the re-injection system to be controlled and monitored from the site SCADA system
- Instrumentation to allow for level monitoring within the monitoring and injection bores
- Complete system had to be designed for hyper-saline water
